Existing Water Right Information
Staff has analyzed the water rights tabulation and contacted the Division Engineer Office (DEO)
to identify any potential water availability problems. There is one decreed surface diversion at the
end of this reach of stream, the Beulah Water Works (0.70 cfs with an 1864 appropriation). Staff
has determined that water is available for appropriation on Middle Creek, between the confluence
with Ophir Creek Lake to the Beulah Water Works diversion, to preserve the natural environment
to a reasonable degree without limiting or foreclosing the exercise of valid existing water rights.
