Salazar hoping Kansas will negotiate on water lawsuit http : / /www.chieftain.com/print.php3 ?story =8 <br />n c � <br />Salazar warned the conservancy district board members, "With the expansion plans at Pueblo Reservoir <br />and Turquoise Reservoir, you need to be aware of the sensitivity of those expansions and how Kansas <br />might view them." <br />Steve Arveschoug, manager of the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District, said the district <br />has kept Kansas and the Arkansas River Compact authority informed and involved in the expansion <br />plans. <br />"We want to enlarge our system to meet needs within the district," Arveschoug said.
