DRAFT - 9/26/01 <br />SECWCD - AURORA IGA <br />C. Management of Aurora's Annual Surplus Water Supplies <br />1. Southeastern will have the opportunity to manage water amounts above <br />Aurora's annual Arkansas Basin component requirements in any year, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />a. Aurora shall make the sole determination each year of any water <br />amounts above Aurora's annual Arkansas Basin component requirements. <br />b. Colorado Canal water may be provided to revegetated lands or <br />lands to be revegetated in Crowley County prior to making such excess water <br />available to the District. <br />C. Should Aurora enter into any agreement to develop storage in <br />Otero County, any provision therein to provide water for entities in Otero County <br />may take priority to providing excess supplies to Southeastern. <br />2. In managing this annual excess water, Southeastern shall: <br />a. Store Aurora's annual excess water in Enterprise Water <br />Management Space, or in alternative storage available to Southeastern until the <br />Enterprise Water Management Space is available; <br />23 <br />
