A CNMP is a conservation plan for an animal feed- ing operation that includes all of the conservation practices and management activities needed to help ensure that both production and natural resource protection goals are achieved. A CNMP addresses natural resource concerns dealing with soil erosion, manure, and organic by- products and their poten- tial impacts on water quality, which may derive from an animal feeding operation. A CNMP is developed to assist the owner /operator in meeting all applicable local, Tribal, State, and Federal water quality goals or regulations. 19 Fiscal Year 2003 Performance Report
