Funding for Goal 3 <br />Figure 10 shows the relative contribution <br />each NRCS program makes to the funds <br />expended on Goal 3 activities. NRCS's <br />Water Resources programs are largely <br />spent in project activities for watershed - <br />scale activities to help local groups and <br />communities. Farm Bill funds help indi- <br />vidual producers apply on -farm measures <br />to conserve and better manage water. <br />CTA is provided to individuals; groups; <br />and local, state, and tribal governments. <br />CTA also provides basic resources infor- <br />mation and conservation technology used <br />by all programs. <br />See "FY2003 Performance Measures" for addi- <br />tional data and maps relating to the perform- <br />ance measures that support this strategic goal. <br />Figure 9.
