s SECWCD <br />September 15, 2005 <br />3 <br />RECORD OF PROCEEDING <br />and by telephone on September 7 and 8. Although the final agreement has not yet been signed, <br />Mr. Witte said that few issues of significance remain unresolved. A final progress report <br />regarding the issues according to the schedule identified by the Special Master will be <br />forthcoming. <br />The next Augmentation Coordination meeting is scheduled for September 29, at the District <br />office. <br />U.S. BUREAU OF RECLAMATION REPORT: <br />Mr. Roy Vaughan reported as of September 13, there was 95,000 acre -feet of water stored in <br />Pueblo Reservoir, 62,323 acre -feet of Project water, 27,233 acre -feet of stored If & When space, <br />5,378 acre -feet of Winter water. <br />Mr. Vaughan said there is currently 161,949 acre -feet of Project space in Pueblo Reservoir, and <br />15,167 acre -feet of Project space available in the Turquoise and Twin Lakes Reservoirs. <br />Mr. Vaughan reported the total imports for 2005 was 54,686 acre -feet compared to the <br />following: <br />2004 — 27,398 of 2003 — 54,855 of 2002 — 13,188 of 2001— 45,307 of 2000 — 44,830 of <br />Following Mr. Vaughan's report, Mr. Broderick read the following: <br />Distinguished Service Award, presented to Brian Person, in recognition of excellent <br />service to the Board and constituents of the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy <br />District in support of the mission for the Fryingpan - Arkansas Project. Presented by the <br />Board of Directors of the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District, September <br />2005. <br />President Stealey presented Mr. Person with the plaque. Mr. Person said he was honored and <br />touched by the recognition. Mr. Person accepted a position in Redding, California with <br />Reclamation. <br />Mr. Person reported that Mike Ryan was appointed Regional Director for the Great Plains <br />Region; Donald E. Moomaw, Assistant Regional Director; and Gary W. Campbell, Deputy <br />Regional Director. <br />DIRECTOR OF NATURAL RESOURCES REPORT: <br />President Stealey introduced Russ George, director of Natural Resources. Mr. George said he has <br />had relations with the Southeastern District since the early 1970's and has watched with great <br />interest the work that the Southeastern District does. <br />
