Fish Passageway <br />-Type: 12" wide full depth vertical slot with 12 "w x 18 "h orifice. <br />- Width: 6 feet. <br />- Slope: 1 vertical foot to 30 horizontal feet. <br />-Slot Spacing: 6 feet for adjustable placement of baffles. <br />-Baffle Spacing: 6 feet for a 2.4 inch drop per pool. <br />- Prefabricated baffles constructed for flexibility. <br />-Flow through passage: 11 -17 cfs. <br />- Maximum operating water surface elevation differential: 10 feet. <br />-Total number of baffles: 50 with 0.2 foot drop per pool. <br />-Flow control by slide gates, dewatering fish passageway will be required. <br />- Access bridge over fish passageway provided for construction and maintenance vehicles. <br />Forebay <br />-Flow into forebay: 75 cfs at low water, 100 cfs at high water. <br />- Forebay includes fish passageway exit, fish trap, and water bypass entrance. <br />- Bypass pipe entrance located on forebay floor to prevent air entrainment. <br />- Bypass pipe controlled by slide gate. <br />Fish Passageway Entrance <br />- Dimensions: 6 feet wide by 18 feet long. <br />-Three side openings and one end opening. <br />-Slide gates at openings. <br />-Invert elevation: 4560 feet. <br />- Minimum water depth: 2.9 feet. <br />- Entrance velocity at minimum flow of 75 cfs: 1.3 feet per second. <br />Fish Passageway Trap <br />- Dimensions: 6 feet x 16 feet, with adjustable length. <br />-Guide slots for adjustable placement of screens. <br />-Trap area covered with grates, removable sections for access. <br />- Perforated aluminum screen at upstream and downstream ends. <br />- Vertical crowder for observation, tagging, and sorting. <br />-Hoist for removing fish. <br />-Invert elevation: 4570.5 feet; minimum water depth: 2.6 feet. <br />- Concrete pad work area. <br />-Fish return pipe for returning non -native fish downstream. <br />General <br />-Site perimeter fenced with 6 -foot high fence. <br />- Railing or grating provided. <br />- Access gates provided. <br />Vehicle access provided to entrance and forebay. <br />-Bridge over fish passageway provided. <br />- Clearances around city pump station provided for maintenance operations. <br />36 <br />
