D- R -A -F -T <br />10/25/91 <br />AGREEMENT NO. <br />AMONG _ T-_ <br />BUREAU OF RECLAMATION AND THE <br />CENTRAL ARIZONA WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT AND THE <br />SIX AGENCY COMMITTEE OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THE <br />SOUTHERN NEVADA WATER CONSERVATION AUTHORITY AND THE <br />UPPER COLORADO RIVER COMMISSION <br />TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO <br />DEVELOP A PROGRAM PLAN FOR <br />A PRECIPITATION MANAGEMENT DEMONSTRATION ACTIVITY <br />I. THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of <br />, 19 , by and among; the Central Arizona Water <br />Conservation District; the Six Agency Committee of Southern <br />California; the Southern Nevada Water Authority; the Upper <br />Colorado River Commission; all of which at times are referred to <br />as "Cooperating Partners "; and the Bureau of Reclamation, <br />hereinafter referred to as "Reclamation ", all of which are at <br />times collectively referred to as "Parties ", pursuant to the Act <br />of Congress approved June 17, 1902, (32 Stat. 388), and acts <br />amendatory thereof or supplementary thereto, all of which acts <br />are commonly known and referred to as Reclamation Law, and <br />particularly pursuant to the Colorado River Basin Project Act of <br />1968 (43 U.S.C., Stat. 1501) , and The Act of March 4, 1921 <br />referred to as the Contributed Funds Act. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />EXPLAkNATORY RECITALS <br />2. a. WHEREAS, the Parties seek the deveiooment of a program <br />plan to describe the technical basis, and the activities and <br />costs required to conduct a precipitation management <br />demonstration activity; and <br />b. WHEREAS, $90,000 of federal funds are available to match <br />with $100,000 in non federal funds to develop said program plan; <br />and <br />C. WHEREAS, in consideration for payment of its portion of <br />program costs, each Party shall have the right to provide <br />direction through a "Steering Committee" and shall have the right <br />to receive all documents develoned as a result of this effort. <br />
