SIX AGENCY COMMITTEE OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THE
SOUTHERN NEVADA WATER CONSERVATION AUTHORITY AND THE
UPPER COLORADO RIVER COMMISSION
TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO
DEVELOP A PROGRAM PLAN FOR
A PRECIPITATION MANAGEMENT DEMONSTRATION ACTIVITY
I. THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of
, 19 , by and among; the Central Arizona Water
Conservation District; the Six Agency Committee of Southern
California; the Southern Nevada Water Authority; the Upper
Colorado River Commission; all of which at times are referred to
as "Cooperating Partners "; and the Bureau of Reclamation,
hereinafter referred to as "Reclamation ", all of which are at
times collectively referred to as "Parties ", pursuant to the Act
of Congress approved June 17, 1902, (32 Stat. 388), and acts
amendatory thereof or supplementary thereto, all of which acts
are commonly known and referred to as Reclamation Law, and
particularly pursuant to the Colorado River Basin Project Act of
1968 (43 U.S.C., Stat. 1501) , and The Act of March 4, 1921
referred to as the Contributed Funds Act.
WITNESSETH:
EXPLAkNATORY RECITALS
2. a. WHEREAS, the Parties seek the deveiooment of a program
plan to describe the technical basis, and the activities and
costs required to conduct a precipitation management
demonstration activity; and
b. WHEREAS, $90,000 of federal funds are available to match
with $100,000 in non federal funds to develop said program plan;
and
C. WHEREAS, in consideration for payment of its portion of
program costs, each Party shall have the right to provide
direction through a "Steering Committee" and shall have the right
to receive all documents develoned as a result of this effort.
