SIX AGENCY COMMITTEE,
TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO
DEVELOP A PROGRAM PLAN FOR
A PRECIPITATION MANAGEMENT DEMONSTRATION ACTIVITY

1. THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of
, 19_, by and among: the Colorado River Commission of
Nevada; the Utah Division of Water Resources, the Central Arizona
Water Conservation District, the Six Agency Committee, and the
Upper Colorado River Commission; all of which at times are
referred to as "Cooperating Partners "; and the Bureau of
Reclamation, hereinafter referred to as "Reclamation ", all of
which are at times collectively referred to as "Parties ",
pursuant to the Act of Congress approved June 17, 1902, (32 Stat.
388), and acts amendatory thereof or supplementary thereto, all
of which acts are commonly known and referred to as Reclamation
Law, and particularly pursuant to the Colorado River Basin
Project Act of 1968 (43 U.S.C., Stat. 1501), and the act.of March
4, 1921 referred to as the Contributed Funds Act.
WITNESSETH:
EXPLANATORY RECITALS-
2. a. WHEREAS, the Parties seek the development of a program
plan to describe the technical basis, and the activities and
costs required to conduct a precipitation management
demonstration program (Program Plan); and
b. WHEREAS, $90,000 of federal funds are available to match
with $91,000 in non - federal funds to develop said Program Plan;
and
c. WHEREAS, a "Steering Committee" as described in the
attached Memorandum of Understanding (Attachment A) shall be
formed to provide direction in the development of said program
plan.
