Agreement Number 2- AB -30- 001110
Development of a Program Plan for a
Precipitation Management Demonstration Activity
November 14 through December 12, 1992
Two activities were conducted during this period. First, some time was spent
internally reviewing the draft program plan.and identifying changes or
corrections that need to be made in the final draft. Second, a steering
committee meeting was held with Colorado River Basin States representatives on
December 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada in conjunction with the Colorado River Water
Users Association meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to provide
Reclamation with comments on the draft program plan. It was our impression
that everyone was essentially - satisfied with the plan and no major changes or
revisions were required. It was generally agreed that the final plan would
include two field sites and transferability studies. It was also agreed that
Reclamation would provide a copy of the final plan to the participants for
review prior to printing. There was discussion on National Environmental
Policy Act compliance and how it affects the program, the form the executive
summary should take, and adding more information on potential benefits from
cloud seeding. The meeting ended with agreement that everyone would provide
their comments in writing to Reclamation by January 4, 1993.
Cost Summary:
Reportina period
Administration
1
staff
day
$712
Task 1
5
staff
days
$3,552 - See Note 1
Task 3
1
staff
day
$286
Task 4
5
staff
days
$3,987 - See Note 2
Total
12
staff
days
$8,537
Total to Date
Administration
10
staff
days
$5,106
Task 1
147
staff
days
$115,807 - See Note 1
Task 3
40
staff
days
$15,993
Task 4
10
staff
days
$5,678
Total
207
staff
days
$142,584
Note 1 - Reporting period includes $312 in contract cost for contractor
support personnel.
