SOLQq: As far as our depart gent is concerned, both the _.iaintenance <br />and Engineering Divisions, tae didn't have :;such opt.Dortunity to prepare any- <br />thing on this, as we only had a fear days' notice. lie have a partial report <br />of what we think represents the daaa�,e froi floods. The whole northeastern <br />section, in 1935 and 1936, we spent by contract, rebuilding due to floods, <br />955? , 419.21. That is frori Denver east through Limon, and up through ;;gins <br />and the Fort Morgan area and Brush, and all that was by contract. Then in <br />the Mlaintenance Department in 1935 at ,diggins, on Bijou Creek, X2118.92. <br />Between Limon and Burlini,on in 1935 and 1936, maintenance, .'?12, ?92.71. <br />And then between Limon and Denver in that saiie area we spent X52,396.44 <br />for bridge repairs and road signs. In tho northeastern section here our <br />biggest trouble is the Bijou and the Hiovia and the Beaver. le have a Great <br />deal of troubjQ with the Bijou where it crosses U. S. 34, east of Fort <br />Eorgan, and also U. 3. 6. Now, in the last two years there in that section <br />we spent on the Bijou Creek east of Brush, "1511.81, for one bridge, which <br />is not sufficient yet.
