The plan of operation reflects use of the <br />reservoirs for all purposes consistent with the "Criteria for Coordinated Long-Range Operation, <br />of the Colorado River Reservoirs Pursuant to the Colorado River Basin Project Act of <br />September 30, 1968." As the year progresses; the plan will be modified if necessary due to any <br />changes in runoff conditions. The Bureau of Reclamation will use the Work Group to keep <br />representatives of the Colorado River Basin States, Indian tribes, and other appropriate entities <br />informed of any changes in the 2004 operating plan. <br />Enclosure <br />cc: Mr. I George Coan, Director <br />Colorado River Commission of Nevada <br />555 East Washington Avenue, Ste. 3 100 <br />Las Vegas, Nevada 89101-1048 <br />Enclosed is the Annual Operating Plan for Colorado River System Reservoirs for 2004. <br />The Annual Operating Plan was prepared in consultation with, representatives of the governors of <br />' . <br />the Colorado River Basin States, Indian tribes, the Upper Colorado River Commission, <br />appropriate federal agencies, and others interested in Colorado River operations, through <br />meetings of the Colorado_ River Management Work Croup (Work Group). The Work Group <br />held meetings on June 3, 2003, August 6, 2003, and September It, 2003, and completed a final <br />consultation via conference call on December 4, 2003. <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />fl <br />The Annual Operating Plan contains the projected plan of operation of Colorado River reservoirs <br />for 2004 based on most probable runoff conditions.
