The public may attend but can only ask questions at the end of reps for fa: <br />the usually six - hour -long sessions. product,.... <br />Some groups who are not considered "cooperating agents" believe the meetings <br />with cooperating agencies have not been publicized enough to inform the public of <br />proceedings. <br />"As a public process, the public ought to be invited to participate to the full extent," <br />said Drew Peternell, staff attorney for Trout Unlimited. <br />Steve McCall of the Bureau of Reclamation said public meetings on the process <br />will be held "toward the end of the year." <br />"Now the first of our tasks is to see how the Aspinall Unit is currently operated and <br />look at what sort of options and alternatives are out there," McCall said. <br />McCall said the bureau would be drafting different alternatives to meet the flow <br />recommendations provided by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
