Contact water users and <br />communities to determine if drough(pTa sl aveieen revised and if technical assistance is <br />needed. Encourage communities to prepare and implement drought plans. Prepare and <br />disseminate water conservation information and model drought plans including Best <br />Management Practices for landscape and turf management for a wide variety of water <br />users. <br />Water Supply Storage Site Inventory — Maintain a GIS inventory and other appropriate <br />tabulations and documents about poential surface and underground water supply <br />storage sites throughout Colorado. fTpda tfie inventory annually to include new sites. <br />Develop and present an annual report to the CWCB. <br />Technical Support and Consulting — Provide technical support and consulting services to <br />CWCB and other state, federal, and local entities, as needed, regarding the coordination <br />"1 of potential projects with the CWCB Construction Fund Loan Program and Colorado <br />0 kJ Water Resource and Power Development Authority to determine whether loan applicants <br />t° have satisfied the requirements of HB 91 -1154. Monitor compliance with existing grant <br />demonstration grant contracts and coordinate with grant recipients to ensure completion <br />of projects. <br />Statewide Outreach and Education — Each Section shall perform outreach and education <br />including participating in public awareness and program advocacy activities to increase <br />public and organizational understanding of CWCB and develop opportunities for each <br />Section to achieve their goals. <br />Water Information — Make information accessible to CWCB's customers and the public <br />regarding water supply conservation and drought planning and protection, as well as <br />general information related to the Section, through publications, the Internet, databases, <br />and the imaging of documents. <br />Page 7 of 10 <br />4/2/2002 <br />
