3.3 Whitc River National Forest <br />The Whitc River National Fbrest issued their Revised Land and Rcsource Management Plan and <br />Final EIS in 2002. Included are tive rivers determined eligible. A suitability study for the eligible <br />Colorado River segments is being conductcd in conjunction with the BLM Glenwood Springs <br />and Kremmling RMP revision and WSR Suitability� study. Of the two segments of watercourses <br />detcrmincd eligible that flow through both �ield office jurisdictions are shown below. <br />Outstandingly Remarkable Centativc Segment <br />Segment Values Classifica[ion River Miles <br />Colorado River I- Forest boundary on <br />[he eas[ end of Glenwood Canyon to the Scener}�, recrcalion, eeology Recreational 335 <br />upstream end of the Shoshone Dam <br />Colorado River 2- Shoshone power � <br />plant to the nalional forest boundary on Scenery, recre�tion, gcology Recreational 3.13 <br />[he west enJ of Glemvood Canyon <br />3.4 (:rand Mesa and Uncompahgre fYational Forest <br />�he Grand Mesa and Uncompahgre Nationul Forest issued a proposed Forest Plan Revision in <br />conjunction wilh the Gunnison National Forest in March 2007, including an eligibility study for <br />WSKs.'I hey did not find any watercourse segments eligible that flow through bo[hjurisdictions. <br />A determination on West Creek (called Unaweep Creck in the USI�S report) as it Flows through <br />Unaweep Canyon was deferred until the E31.M completed its eligibility determination. <br />3.5 Uncompahgre Field Officc <br />rhe f3LM Uncompahgre Field Oftice is in the early stages of revising their RN1P. l'his process <br />will include a formal eligibility report lor WSRs, expected to be released in 2009. 'fhe GJFO <br />coordinated with this tield office on eligibility determinations for segments crossing field oftice <br />boundarics and a copy af this eligibility repurt will be provided to Iheir tield office. <br />3.6 San Juan Public Lands Center <br />Che northern boimdary of the San Juan Public Lands Center falls very close to the I3LM GJFO in <br />far western Colorado with a small segment of the BLM Uncompahgre Field Officc separating the <br />two. 'I�he Dolores River flows through these sections, with administration by all three tield <br />ofticcs falling in close proaimity. Thc Dratt l.and Management Plan and DraR EIS for the San <br />Juan Public lands Center idcntities prcliminary suitability dcterminations for over 230 miles of <br />the Dolores Rivcr and tributarics detcrmincd eligible. "I he tinal decision on suitability will be <br />made in the ROD.
