SOUTH SIDE RESERVOIR COMPANY <br />RESERVOIR REHABILITATION <br />Completed Spillway Improvements at South Side Reservoir <br />Proiect Description <br />The South Side Reservoir Company operates the South Side Reservoir, which provides irrigation water <br />within a 1,590 -acre service area. The South Side Reservoir is located approximately 1 mile southwest of the <br />City of Loveland. This $300,000 project involved the rehabilitation of the outlet structure and spillway. The <br />completed improvements removed the State Engineer's storage restriction, which prohibited the Company to <br />fill the 39 -foot dam beyond gauge height 22.5 feet. The removal of the restriction allows the Company to fill <br />the dam to capacity (620 acre - feet), regaining the 172 AF lost to the restriction. The spillway work was <br />completed in 2007 and the outlet works was recently completed in the spring of 2009. <br />Proiect Data <br />Sponsor: South Side Reservoir Co.
