WELDON VALLEY DITCH COMPANY <br />COTTONWOOD DRAW FLUME PROJECT <br />Project Description <br />The Weldon Valley Ditch Company provides irrigation water to approximately 6,400 acres of agricultural <br />land in Morgan County, between Orchard and Weldona. The Company utilized the Cottonwood Draw <br />Flume, a wooden structure nearly 8 feet wide and 300 feet long that spanned the Cottonwood Draw. The <br />flume, supported by a wooden frame and concrete foundation was deteriorated and occasionally inundated by <br />floodwaters within the draw. This project included the construction of a concrete siphon spanning the draw <br />to replace the flume and restore reliable water deliveries to its shareholders. <br />Proiect Data <br />Sponsor: Weldon Valley Ditch Co.
