Article II Definitions Cont’d
“Upper Basin” means those part of the AZ, CO, NM, UT and WY
within and from which waters naturally drain into the Colorado River
system above Lee Ferry, and also parts of the States located
outside of the drainage area that are beneficially served by waters
diverted from the system above Lee Ferry. Article II(f)
“Lower Basin” means those parts of AZ, CA, NV, NM and UT within
and from which waters naturally drain into the Colorado River
system below Lee Ferry, and also all parts of the States located
outside the drainage area of the Colorado River system that are
beneficially served by waters diverted from the system below Lee
Ferry. Article II(g)
Article II(e) The term “Lee Ferry” means a point in the main stream
of the Colorado River 1 mile below the mouth of the Paria River.
