Article II Definitions Cont’d <br />“Upper Basin” means those part of the AZ, CO, NM, UT and WY <br />within and from which waters naturally drain into the Colorado River <br />system above Lee Ferry, and also parts of the States located <br />outside of the drainage area that are beneficially served by waters <br />diverted from the system above Lee Ferry. Article II(f) <br />“Lower Basin” means those parts of AZ, CA, NV, NM and UT within <br />and from which waters naturally drain into the Colorado River <br />system below Lee Ferry, and also all parts of the States located <br />outside the drainage area of the Colorado River system that are <br />beneficially served by waters diverted from the system below Lee <br />Ferry. Article II(g) <br />Article II(e) The term “Lee Ferry” means a point in the main stream <br />of the Colorado River 1 mile below the mouth of the Paria River.
