The board of directors shall receive as com- <br />pensation for their services, $5.00 per day for attendance at each <br />meeting of the board, and for each day actually employed in the <br />management of the affairs of the Company, and their reasonable and <br />actual traveling expenses when actually engaged in business of the <br />Company, to be audited and allowed as in other cases of demand <br />against the Company. <br />Section 3. The secretary and treasurer shall be allowed <br />such compensation as may be determined upon by the board of direc- <br />tors. <br />Section 4. The compensation of all other employees of <br />the Company shall be fixed and determined by the board of direc- <br />tors. <br />XVII. WASTAGE AND HEADGATES <br />All headgates shall be under the exclusive control of the <br />water superintendent, and shall at no time be turned on or off <br />except by notifying the superintendent and receiving his consent <br />thereto. The headgate of any stockholder allowing water to go to <br />waste shall be closed until he shall satisfy the board that he is <br />able to care for and apply his water. <br />
