Attach a map of the service area <br />he company has approximately 17 miles of irrigation canal starting East of Austin, Colorado, and extending West to the <br />Western edge of the City of Delta, Colorado. During July of 2011 the company suffered a tunnel collapse in one of three <br />tunnels on the system. This prevented 171 users from receiving water through the tunnel. West portal of the collapsed tunnel is just south of mile marker 1 on <br />Colorado 65. <br />5. Please provide a brief narrative description of the proposed project including purpose, need, <br />facilities, type of water uses to be served and service area. Attach separate sheet, if needed. <br />The project consists of lining the 1450 foot long tunnel with 1500 feet of 54 inch O.D. DR17 HDPE fused pipe pulled through <br />the tunnel and then grouted as set forth in the Feasibility Study. <br />6. Will the acquisition of additional water rights be necessary?
