Counties of Crowley and Pueblo; but business may be conducted and transacted in such other <br />counties in said State, and in such manner and at such times, as may hereafter be determined upon <br />by the Board of Directors. <br />SEVENTH: The Board of Directors shall have power to make such prudential <br />By -Laws from time to time as they may deem proper for the management of the affairs of our <br />Company, not inconsistent with the laws of this State, nor with these Articles. (Original article) <br />EIGHTH: Said Lake Meredith Reservoir is situated in sections Fifteen (15), <br />Sixteen (16), Twenty (20), Twenty -one (21), Twenty -two (22), Twenty -seven (27), Twenty -eight <br />(28), Twenty -nine (29), Thirty (30), Thirty-one (31), Thirty-two (32) and Thirty-three (33), in <br />Township Twenty-one (21) S., Range Fifty -six (56) W.; in Sections Twenty -Five (25) and Thirty - <br />six (36), in Township Twenty-one (21) , Range Fifty -seven (57) W.; in section Six (6) in <br />Township Twenty-two (22) S., Range Fifty -six (56) W.; and in Section One (I), Township <br />Twenty -two (22) S., Range Fifty -seven (57) W., all in Otero County, Colorado, and the streams, <br />channels and other sources from which the water is to be taken and received are (a) the Arkansas <br />River and all its tributaries, through and by means at the Colorado Canal; (b) Bob Creek and all <br />the tributaries of said stream, said Bob Creek draining naturally into said Lake Meredith <br />reservoir; (c) the surface drainage water from the surrounding country, which slopes down to <br />Lake Meredith reservoir from all sides; and (d) the seepage water which finds its way into said <br />Lake Meredith reservoir from the surrounding lands, and especially the seepage water from the <br />adjoining irrigated lands. <br />The headgate of said the Colorado Canal is situated in Pueblo County, Colorado, <br />on the north bank of the Arkansas River in the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northeast <br />quarter (NE 1/4) of Section Ten (10), Township Twenty -one (21) S., Range Sixty -two (62) W., <br />bearing south O degrees 58' West 424 feet from the southwest corner of Section Two (2), in <br />Lake Meredith Res.
