The Town of LaVeta is proposing to <br />Rehabilitate its North Lake Dam which supplies the towns municipal water system. The <br />North lake Dam is currently under restriction by the Sate Engineers office due to concerns <br />of seepage, outlet pipe integrity, and inoperable out system. <br />For existing facilities indicate: <br />Number of shareholders <br />Current Assessment per share $ <br />Number of acres irrigated <br />or Number of customers served 580 Taps <br />Number of shares <br />Water Right: (SEE Report) CFS. <br />Average water diverted per year: 209 acre -feet. <br />Part B. - Description of the Project <br />1. (Please include county, and approximate distance and direction <br />from nearest town, as well as legal description, if known. <br />The Town is located in southern Colorado on the eastern slope of the rocky mountains in <br />Huerfano County. The Town Lakes and water treatment plant are located on the southern <br />end of town on County Road 360. See Map Attachments in Report <br />5.
