No official <br />' sample plot data was recorded. The wetland soils located within the floodplain of the Rio Grande are <br />problematic (based on USACE Delineation Manual) due to their dynamic nahu•e and coarse textures, <br />' which have the affect of making potential hydric indicators. However, the soil profiles examined within <br />the floodplain did contain some faint redo�cimorphic features which were used during the delineation <br />I� process to indicate prolouged periods of saturation or inuiidation. <br />Upland soils located outside of the floodplain generally consisted of loam to sandy loam with gravel, <br />, gobble and shallow bedrock.
