Initial <br />efforts have been made to be consi5tent with the AGNW'C S�cioeconomic study planning <br />horizons. <br />Task 3 Review Conditiona/ Water Rights <br />The r�bjeclii�c� nf this task is to cnmpile a lis� of the conclitinnal x�nter rights in the <br />Colorado and 6i'hit� River Basins, identifi�ing th�se rights which are currenlly ow�ed by <br />energy c�mpanies. <br />The URS "Team has compiled a list of conditional water rights for Water Districts 43 <br />(White River), 39 (Rifle/�I1��Parachute Creeks), �� (I�ivide Creek) and 70 (RUan Creek). <br />This information inelu�es a breakout of the conditional diversion and conditional storage <br />rights in each of the Districts. A map showing the location and magnitude/size of these <br />conditional diversion and storage �aater rights has also been developed. This information <br />was presented and discussed at the December l 7, 2007 Energ�� Subcommittee Meeting. <br />"ro date the �iRS team has interviewed the Ul'ater C'ommissioners of I)istricts 39, 43, and <br />�i5. The purpose of these intervie��s was to obtain an assessment of conditional water <br />ri�hts owned by companie5 associated with en�rgr dev�lopment. The information <br />obtained from these interviews w�il! be used t�� begin the process of sorting conditional <br />water rights by ownership. <br />Task 4 Project Management, Meetings and Coordinafion <br />The objective of this tu.ck is tc� pruvrcle the needecl prnject management and <br />correspondence needed �ar lhe prujecr. <br />The URS Team members attended the following meetings during the performance <br />period: <br />� December 6. 20�7 Northtivest Ener�;y Forurn Mzeting in Rifle, Colorado <br />• December 1 I, 2007 meeting with District 43 Water Cc�mmissioners <br />• December 17, 2007 Energ�r Subcom�nittee meeting in Cilenwood Springs, <br />Colarado <br />• December 27, 20�7 rneeting with T)istricts 39 and 45 in Glenwood Springs, <br />C�lorado <br />Mr. Sikora and Ms. Fawler have also been communieating �vith the City� of Grand <br />Junction periadically far contract quetitions and issues as they arise. <br />i �It� �_t�r����r�tti��;�� <br />'') � ( ���rJ��!' \�.c'nit,.
