H. Collateral
The City can offer a collateral interest in the "Water Activity Enterprise" revenues (the
City has an Enterprise that handles both water and wastewater, and a vote is not required to use
these revenues as collateral). The collateral interest will be on parity with other liens against
water related revenues.
I. Institutional Considerations
The City of Idaho Springs has applied to the CWCB to borrow $825,000 from the CWCB
Construction Fund. The loan is contingent upon CWCB approval and the successful negotiation
between the CWCB and the City. Discussions with CWCB have also considered combining the
existing $130,000 CWCB loan with the requested new loan.
J. Opinion of Feasibility
The selected alternative is technically and financially feasible. There are no significant
roadblocks that would keep the City of Idaho Springs from successfully completing the
alternative.
11
