WCC literally "wrote
the book" on embankment dams. Eartl and Earth Rock Dasns, written by WCC
principals (including Mr. William Clevenger from the Denver ofce), is widely used by
practicing pxofessionals and by geotechnical educators. Since the founding of the firm
in 1950, WCC has been i.nvolved in t11e design, construction, analysis, repair, and
rehabilitation of more than 2,000 dams. 1`he scope of WCC's work on these projects has
ranged from consultation on speciic problems to complete design, construction
supervision and management, evaluation, and certication.
Successful dam building and dam reh i' a' combination of engineering, science,
and experience.
