Legal description of the lake: <br />The lake is located in the SW SW, Sect. 8, T2S, R70W, 6th P.M. at <br />latitude 39° 53' 13 "N and longitude 105° 14' 57 "W in Jefferson County, <br />Colorado. The lake is located on the Eldorado Spnngs and Louisville <br />U.S.G.S. quadrangles. <br />4. Use of water: <br />Maintarn the natural lake level to preserve the natural environment to a <br />reasonable degree. <br />5. Date of initiation of appropriation: <br />January 23, 2002. <br />6. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use on January 23, <br />2002, by action of the Colorado Water Conservation Board under the <br />provision of C.R.S. § § 37- 92- 102(3). 37 -92- 103(3), (4), (10). <br />7 Amount of water claimed (ABSOLUTE): Twenty -eight (28) acre -feet, <br />absolute. This is the amount of water necessary to preserve the natural <br />elevation of the water surface at approximately 6,263 feet. <br />THE WATER REFEREE RULES: <br />The Application is granted and a decree in the amount of (ABSOLUTE) <br />twenty -eight (28) acre -feet is hereby entered to preserve the natural environment at the <br />natural elevation of the water surface at approximately 6,263 feet as described in <br />paragraph 3 above. The appropriation date for this water right is January 23, 2002. <br />The priority herein awarded was filed in the water court in the year of 2002 <br />and shall be Junior to all priorities filed in previous years. As between all nghts filed <br />in the same calendar year, priorities shall be determined by historical date of <br />appropriation and not affected by the date of entry of ruling. The Applicant shall <br />install and maintain such measuring devices and keep such records as the Division <br />Engineer may require for admrnistation of this right. <br />
