Box 58 <br /> Durango,CO 81302-0058 <br /> PERMIT ED PROJECT: Commercial seeding operation of winter storm clouds .with <br /> ground based ice nuclei generators to augment snowpack in the <br /> Western San Juan Mountains. This permit is to use 18 generators <br /> to increase streamftow and reservoir storage. The target area is <br /> defined as areas above 9,000 feet mean sea level, including, the <br /> Dolores River, La Plata River, Hermosa River, Animas River, <br /> and Durango Mountain Resort Ski Area. The Primary Project <br /> Sponsors are the Southwestern Water Conservation District, <br /> Flores Water Conservancy Distract, Durango Mountain Resort, <br /> and the La Plata Water Conservancy District. <br /> PERIOD OF PERMIT: Approval is hereby given for operations from November 1, 2010 <br /> through March 31 2011, with conditional approval givers for <br /> future yew' operations f om November l through March 31 of <br /> 241 L-2012 through the same operational, ins for up to ten <br /> years through the operational year 2019-2020. This permit is <br /> subject to the permit renewal requirements of section 36-20- <br /> 114(2), CRS, and of the Colorado Weather Modification Rules <br /> and Regulations, 2 CCR 401-1. This pernnit shall automatically <br /> terminate on March 31,2020. <br /> 1 <br />
