'` <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board � <br />1580 Logan Street, Suite 750 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />RE: Request for Extension of Construction Time Limit, Contract No. C150259 <br />To Whom It May Concern: <br />The Board of Directors of the Bijou Irrigation District formally requests an additional <br />time period to complete the construction of the Empire Reservoir East Dike <br />Rehabilitation Project. <br />Facts and Circumstances <br />This project was started in October of 2007, and construction was scheduled for three (3) <br />phases to Ue completed over the next three years, with construction to be finished in <br />March of 2010. The 2009 dam safety inspection for �Empire Reservoir, when completed, <br />revealed that the Bijou Irrigation District needed to complete an additional phase four (4). <br />Since the additional Phase met the same criteria for the scope of the loan and additional <br />revenue was still available, said Phase was incorporated into Loan Contract Number <br />C1502S9. <br />Please regard this letter as a formal request for extension on the tirne to complete the <br />entire Ernpire Reservoir East Dike Rehabilitation Project. An additional one (1) year <br />period will be required to �nish the Project.
