Colorado Water Conservation Board
Additional Scope of Work
Drought Vulnerability Study
July 9, 2010
AMEC Earth and Environmental (AMEC) has been requested by CWCB to conduct
additional work to update and /or augment information contained within the draft Drought
Vulnerability Report, prior to this document being made available for public review.
AMEC will thus conduct the following sub -tasks as additions to Task 2 in the original
scope of work (Vulnerability Assessment: Synthesis /Presentation of Findings). This work
will be conducted for a Firm Fixed Price not to exceed $15,000.
* Update data from SWSI I included in draft report with data from recent efforts
included in the SWSI III/ Colorado Water Futures project (as appropriate);
* Update information from 2050 Municipal and Industrial Water Use Projections
report with recently revised information provided to AMEC by CWCB;
* Update draft report with tables, maps and text from CWCB Non - Consumptive
Water Use draft report;
* Update other data and tables in the draft report where CWCB can provide, or
provide links to, existing reports and spreadsheets containing more recent data;
* Enhance color schemes and /or symbols used in maps contained in the draft
report to enhance their interpretation;
* Incorporate latest information on IPP's from the BNDSS.
AMEC will work with Taryn Hutchins - Cabibi at CWCB in an iterative fashion to ensure
that the best and /or most recent available data (provided by CWCB) is inserted to
replace current draft report tables and other data, as appropriate. The completion date
for this effort is 9/15/2010.
