0 <br />March 26, 2004 <br />Memorandum: <br />0 <br />TO: Steven Shull, Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />FROM: Ray Alvarado, Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />SUBJECT: RTi Non - engineering work related to Landsat Imagery Processing <br />You requested clarification on the type of work that RTi would be doing under a $25,000 <br />purchase order, associated with the Landsat imagery processing. As the submitted scope <br />of work states, RTi will be responsible for preprocessing of Landsat imagery and DOQQs <br />to be used for the 2003 irrigated lands update in the Lower Arkansas River Basin. <br />This work that is addressed in the scope of work relates to GIS work, which is non- <br />engineering in nature. The processing effort involves no engineering work, but does <br />involve remote sensing, which is a non- engineering. <br />With regard to Tim Martin's title of "principal in charge ", Dr. Martin is a principal <br />owner in RTi. It is the policy of RTi to have a "principal" owner in charge of all projects. <br />If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact me.
