Introduction <br />This proposed Scope of Work is for the acquisition and preprocessing of Landsat imagery and DOQQs to <br />be used for the 2003 irrigated lands update in the Lower Arkansas River Basin. RTi will provide direct <br />technical assistance to Division 2 by completing the following tasks: <br />■ Monitoring and needs assessment <br />■ Final specification and ordering of data <br />■ Create a seamless digital orthoimage base map in compressed (MrSid) format <br />■ Satellite image preprocessing including georeferencing, corrections and calibration <br />2. Specific Task Descriptions <br />2.1 Task 1 Monitoring and needs assessment <br />Objective: <br />To provide recommendations for Landsat image acquisition and other data development for a 2003 <br />irrigated lands update in the Lower Arkansas River Basin. <br />Methods: <br />• Landsat Imagery <br />Analyze, search, and recommend required Landsat data for a 2003 irrigated lands update in the <br />Lower Arkansas River Basin <br />• Digital Ortho Quads (DOQQs) <br />Analyze, search, and recommend required DOQQs for a 2003 irrigated lands update in the Lower <br />Arkansas River Basin <br />• Other Data Needs <br />Analyze and recommend other data and image processing needs <br />Deliverables: <br />■ Technical memorandum describing recommended data procedures <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
