Prototype Installation. The prototype will initially be developed at RTi and will be visible
at any time to the CWCB using a web browser. Additionally, if the CWCB or DWR are able
to maintain a development site on the State's servers, RTi will provide periodic updates to the
prototype. In any case, regular calls or meetings will be held (on the order of every two
weeks) to evaluate progress on the project. For the final installation, RTi will provide to the
State all data layers and available metadata, secondary data files implemented for the
prototype, map viewer site files, and configuration documentation. RTi will also present a
demonstration/training session to Flood Protection staff.
Deliverable The prototype ArcIMS web site with all supporting files will be installed on a
State server (during development, the State will be able to view the work in progress on RTi's
web site). RTi will provide a demonstration and training to the Flood Protection staff in
Denver. A short document describing use of the site will be provided.
9. Prototype Evaluation. After a period of review, during which State of Colorado staff can
use the prototype Flood DSS web site, RTi will participate in a review meeting, to discuss
feedback on the site and assist the State with estimating an approximate cost and developing a
list of activities to implement the full -scale DSS.
Deliverable RTi will participate in a review of the prototype with Flood Protection staff and
will summarize comments for the prototype. The memorandum will also provide a list of
recommendations, activities, and approximate cost estimate to implement the full -scale Flood
DSS.
10. Project Management. Because of the short schedule, regular phone and email
communication will occur between RTi and CWCB Flood Protection staff. Bi- weekly phone
call status reports between RTi and CWCB project managers will monitor progress. Interim
products will be available on RTi's web site for CWCB review.
Deliverable Bi- weekly phone status reports.
