WEST GREHLEY DR,AINACE, ST!IDY
SECTION I
GENERAL
S OF REPORT
The investigations, studies, designs, and recommendations shown in this
report have been prepared to furnish the Greeley City Planning Commission,
City and County officials, and all parties with reliable
and comprehensive information concerning the present and future drainage
conditions in that area immediately west of Greeley. The purpose of these
studies and investigations is to establish and describe the existing drainage
conditions and to predict the effect of future development on these drainage
conditions. Based upon this information, a long -range drainage improvement
program has been developed and is presented herein for review and acceptance
as the official guide for future development of the area.
In general a drainage report may be divided into the following basic
categories:
1. Size and Characteristics of Drainage Area
Z. Rainfall and Other Design Criteria
3. Description of the Recommended Drainage Solution
4. Conclusions and Recommendations
Each of the above categories has been investigated and is discussed in
detail in subsequent sections of this report.
In addition to the figures, exhibits, drawings, and other data contained
within this report, a series of large -scale (1" equal 100') reproducible
drawings have been prepared to show graphically and in detail the specific
items discussed within the report. These drawings are on file with the
City Engineer.
- 1 -
