71
Rev. 4 -8 -69
Separable construction costs are derived in Table VII -B by sub-
tracting the cost for the multiple- purpose project with one purpose
omitted from the total multiple- purpose cost. The costs thus derived
are entered on line 4a of Table VII -C and are $560,100 for irrigation
and $227,900 for recreation and fish and wildlife. Separable interest
during construction, line 4b is calculated by subtracting the amount
determined for the multiple- purpose project with one purpose omitted
from the total for the multiple- purpose projects as shown in Table VII -A.
Line 5 of Table VII -C, Remaining Justifiable Expenditure, is equal
to line 3 less line 4. With its components expressed as a percentage of
the total, as in line 6, the data shows that 54.05 percent of the
Remaining Joint Cost (this being the Total Cost, Footnote "a ", less
the Separable Cost, line 4) is allocable to irrigation, with the balance
being allocable to fish, wildlife and recreation. This allocation is
carried out in line 7. The total costs for each function are shown on
line 8, the summation of lines 4 and 7.
