RESOLUTION
CONCERNING SMALL RECLAMATION PROJECT LOAN AND GRANT
Director GLJ offered the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, by its letter of June 12, 1968, the Board of Directors
of the WATER SUPPLY AND STORAGE COMPANY made application to the
Bureau of Reclamation, Department of the Interior, fora, loan and
grant under the Small Reclamation Projects Act of 1956, as amended,
for the purpose of constructing Long Draw Dam and making certain
improvements to the Grand River Ditch; and
WHEREAS, on the basis of an allocation of the cost of the Long
Draw Dam made in accordance with procedures prescribed by the Bureau

of Reclamation, using an interest rate of three and one - fourth percent
(3 - 1/4%) to determine the present worth of future annual costs and

benefits, a request was made for an Irrigation loan of $1,016,100, a

Recreation and Fish and Wildlife loan of $322,700, and a Recreation
I
and Fish and Wildlife grant of $377,400; with the loans to be repaid
in fifty (50) consecutive years following the completion of Long
Draw Dam; and
