Moreover, there is a city ordinance in effect which prohibits <br />irrigation of lawns during a fire. <br />City maintenance crews are accustomed to doing emergency repair work <br />and are well- trained to do so. The two -way radio system operated by the city <br />electrical department, if extended to the water department, would make it a <br />simple task to alert repair crews in the event of a water system failure. <br />In view of the above facts, we believe that the City of Loveland is safe <br />in providing something less than the normal amount of storage designated <br />purely as emergency storage.
