day water consumption for metered out -of -city customers was 204 gpcd and this
amount of water was distributed to approximately 1,300 persons.
A deduction of the above quantity of water from plant production
recorded figures now gives us the amount of water which must be credited to
the population within the corporate limits of Loveland. No deduction is
made for industrial water since such water is always more or less in direct
proportion to the population. This proportion will, of course, vary with the
type of industry.
We can now determine the per capita use within the corporate limits.
The results of such a determination is shown here.
TAKE N0. 3
PAST PER CAPITA DEMANDS
Average Day Maxima Day
Year Popu_ lawn Secd $gcd
1950 6,773 250 589
1951 7,167 251 593
1952 7,432 244 577
1953 7,650 282 669
1954 7,840 287 619
1955 8,155 270 668
1956 8,383 273 683
1957 8,698 258 689
1958 8,990 293 698
1959 9,295 297 669
*1960 9,734 345 756
*Values In Question
**Population Derived From Building Permit Records
- 11 -
