It
would also require acquisition of water from some third party. This would be both
expensive and, potentially difficult. Without the ability to drill and use wells Stagestop
property values would plummet. Stagestop is currently valued at over $40 million as
calculated by the Park County Assessors Office. Without water its value could drop 05%
to 75% representing an enormous loss.
Social and Physical Impacts
The project will have no significant social impacts, since it will assure the continued
operation of a currently existing augmentation plan. The project will have no physical
impacts, once construction is complete.
Conclusions
1. The Stagestop Owners Association is an incorporated entity in the State of Colorado
with the ability to enter into a contract with the CWCB for the purpose of obtaining a
Construction Fund loan. ,.
2. Rights-of Way easements are adequate for the construction of this project.
3. The project would provide for the continued delivery of water to lot owners.
4. The total estimated cost of the project is $211,765 and this will be financed, in
part, by in- house financing. The SOA is applying for a$190,588 loan from the
CWCB Construction Fund for the amount not covered by SOA funding.
5 Stagestop Owners Association is eligible for a loan from the CWCB Construction
Fund to rehabilitate its Water Augmentation Reservoirs.
6.
