These projects will provide much of the water <br />necessary to meet M &I demands, but the water treatment and transmission <br />infrastructure needed to deliver the water is lacking. The San Miguel Basin (Montrose <br />and San Miguel counties) are projected to have shortfalls related to growth in M &I <br />and SSI demands and in the reliability of existing agricultural supplies.
