The Home Supply Watershed Project is located in Larimer and Weld Counties <br />An Agricultural Water Management Project consisting of land treatment Measures <br />and structural measures for the rehabilitation of the canal system and a <br />5,100 acre-foot reservoir for supplemental irrigation storage. Estimated <br />project cost is $2,551,102 ($981,102 P.Lo 566 and $1,570,000 local costs). <br />Project area is 43,140 acres. Sponsors are the Big Thompson Soil Conservation <br />District, the Consolidated Home Supply Ditch & Reservoir Company, the Handy <br />Ditch Company and the Colorado State Soil Conservation Board. <br />2, The Louden Watershed Project is located in Larimer County and consists of <br />land treatment measures and structural measures for rehabilitation of the main <br />canal system and associated lateral systems. Estimated project cost is <br />$889,820 ($246,960 P.L. 566 and other costs $642,860). Project area is <br />13,280 acres. The project is sponsored by the Big Thompson and Ft. Collins <br />Soil Conservation Districts, the Louden Irrigating Canal and Reservoir Company, <br />the Louden Extension Canal and Reservoir Company, the Big Lateral Ditch <br />Company, and the Colorado State Soil Conservation Board. <br />3, The Pine River Watershed in Archuleta and La Plata Counties consists of <br />land treatment measures and f prevention and canal structures for the <br />protection of the project irri-,iced lands and for the rehabilitation of the <br />canal system. Estimated projec I t cost is $711,600 ($331,600 P�Lo 566 and <br />$380,000 other costs), Project area is 57,730 acres, The project is <br />sponsored by the Pine River Soil Conservation District and the Pine River <br />Canal Company. <br />AU MORIZED WATERSHED PROJECTS NOT IN CONSTRUCTION (P.L. 566) <br />1, Vineland Watershed, Pueblo County. Project area is 11,110 acr ' es. It <br />is sponsored by the Bessemer and Pueblo Soil Conservation Districts° The <br />Vineland Flood Conservancy District was formed to provide project casements <br />and the Colorado State Soil Conservation Board has recently joined as <br />co-sponsors. The plan provides a program of land treatment and structural <br />measures, consisting of 4 floodwater-retarding structures, one canal flood <br />regulating and wasteway structures and two floodway channels, to protect <br />valuable irrigated farmlands, community of Vineland and State and County <br />roads from floodwater, sediment and erosion damages. <br />The following tabulation summarizes all project costs. <br />
