. s <br />Protects Undc�3minary Investigation <br />Plum Creak - Eight dam sites have been selected for investigation. <br />Surveys and economic investigations are scheduled to be completed <br />in about two months. The state Highway Department will cooperate <br />in the economic studies. <br />Biiou Crete - Field examinations have been made, but no invest- <br />igations will be made until fall. <br />West Paradox -- Field investigations are scheduled this month in <br />anticipation of approval of a Work Plan by the Washington office <br />of SES. <br />Boot Elder Creek (Fort Collins) - Project found feasible, but <br />planning has been suspended until easement problems have been <br />resolved. <br />Goal Cree': (Boulder) - investigations indicate a feawfible project <br />can be developed; however, the sponsors must dbtain easements for <br />two dams before: planning can proceed. <br />Crooked 1 (Rocky Ford) - A feasible flood prevention project <br />r.rrr_rr • r r. r r�rr.ri irrw <br />can be developed if the sponsors can obtain easements for the <br />proposed reservoirs. <br />Wild I3orse Creek (Holly) - Investigations have been initial d; <br />however, more information is needed to determine the feasibility. <br />This project appears offhand to be of very questionable feasibility. <br />Cuehara,s Creek Walsenbur and Black Squirrel Colo Springs) - <br />Preliminary investigations for these projects have not been <br />scheduled to date. <br />Eaton Project (Gree 1�, - sack of sponsor interest and cost of <br />easements makers this a very questionable justified project. <br />At this time awaiting response from the sponsors. <br />S := <br />memorandum <br />- 2 - <br />July 5, 1966 <br />
