IF - __ <br />i <br />-6- <br />, Section 15. All acts or parts of acts in conflict herewith, re- <br />lating to the appointment of a commissioner or commissioners, for nego- <br />tiating compacts respecting the waters of interstate streams are hereby <br />repealed; Provided, however, that such repeal shall not affect the author- <br />ity of any or commissioners now engaged in the process of <br />negotiating any interstate compact respecting the waters. of any interstate <br />stream of this state, nor affect the 'validity of any such compact when so <br />negotiated. <br />Section 16. The General Assembly hereby finds, determines and <br />declares. this Act necessary for the immediate preservation of the-public <br />peace, health and safety. <br />Section 17. In the opinion of the General ,ssembly an emergency <br />exists; therefore, this let' shall take effect , and be in force from and <br />after its passage. <br />t <br />Approved; June 1, 1937- <br />1 <br />
