SECTION 1 This Act ma be known as the " Liti "Water Tank Act
of Colorado".
SECTION 2 It is the policy' of the State of ` Coloredo to encourage
and improve range condition's for livestock within its borders through
the construction of watering tanks to provide a system of priorities
of right of use thereof, and to protect adjudicated water 'rights and
the public interest by' providing an official record and reasonable
public supervision` of such watering tank's.
SECTION 3. Hereafter the provisions of Sections 79 to 86, both
inclusive, and Sections 91 to 99, botli' inclusive - , of Chapter 90 of
the 1935 Colorado Statutes Annotated', shall not apply to stock water
tanks'of the character._hereinafter defined'.
SECTION 4*' All reservoirs created by dams hereafter constructed
on water courses, the channels which are normally dry as "determined
by the state engineer',, having ae capacity not exceeding ten (10) acre
feet and - a vertical height not exceeding fifteen (15) feet from the
bottom of the channel- to the bottom of the spillway, end to be used

SECTION 5',._No stock water ten ks' constructed under - the provisions
of this Act shall be used'for irrigation purposes; and nothing contained
in this Act shall'be construed as conferring upon the otisnnor - any such
, livestock water tank a priority of use superior to any vested water
right or to an adjudicated ep propriation of water pursuant to state,
laws.
'SECTION 6. Any one proposing.-to construct a dam- for the `Creation
of a livestock water tank, as described in Section 4 of this Act, shall•
submit to the State - Engineer for his approval,'plans and specifications
