It appears that newspapers, television and <br />CDOW information offer the best avenues for improving western slope warmwater <br />anglers knowledge and information about such recovery efforts and fishery <br />management projects like reclaiming and restocking ponds. • <br />From the CDOW's viewpoint, the fact that 92% of warmwater anglers think it is <br />somewhat or very important to have warmwater fishing opportunities within an hour <br />drive of their home, that 36% are currently dissatisfied with current opportunities, and <br />that 16 % would consider not buying a fishing license with fewer warmwater <br />opportunities is ample incentive to continue efforts to manage waters for warmwater • <br />fishing in the upper Colorado Basin. <br />LITERATURE CITED <br />1.
