10 <br />1 ness Proposal," dated May 1991, which are hereby <br />2 incorporated into the Never Summer Wilderness: <br />3 Provided, That the area on the above - mentioned <br />4 map, depicted as "Area A" shall be managed for <br />5 backcountry recreation; Provided further, That the <br />6 Area is hereby withdrawn from all forms of timber <br />7 removal, and subject to valid existing rights, is here - <br />8 by withdrawn from all forms of appropriations under <br />9 the mining laws and from disposition under all laws <br />10 pertaining to mineral leasing and all amendments <br />11 thereto. <br />12 (b) MAPS AND DESCRIPTION. As soon as practica- <br />13 ble after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary <br />14 shall file a map and a legal description of each area desig- <br />15 nated as wilderness by this Act with the Committee on <br />16 Interior and Insular Affairs of the House of Representa- <br />17 tives and with the Committee on Energy and Natural Re- <br />18 sources of the Senate. Each map and description shall <br />19 have the same force and effect as if included in this Act, <br />20 except that correction of clerical and typographical errors <br />21 in the legal description and map may be made. The map <br />22 and legal description shall be on file and available for pub - <br />23 lie inspection in the Office of the Chief of the Forest Serv- <br />24 ice, Department of Agriculture. <br />S 10291S <br />
