Land Ownership <br />The Wilson Mountains Review Area includes about 40,150 acres of inter- <br />mingled private land, of which some 748 acres is inside the Primitive Area. <br />Most of these lands were patented under the General Mining Laws, although <br />some large acreages at lower levels were homesteaded as agricultural lands. <br />
