Legal description of the stream segment through which an instream flow is <br />claimed: <br />a. The natural stream channel beginning at the springs near Antelope Gulch <br />at latitude 38° 39' 14 'N and longitude 105° 48' 53 "W as the upstream <br />terminus and extending to the confluence with the Arkansas River at <br />latitude 38° 27' 55 "N and longitude 105° 5l' 41 "W as the downstream <br />terminus, being a distance of approximately 16 miles. This segment can <br />be located on the Gribbles Park, Howard and Jack Hall Mountain <br />U.S.G.S. quadrangle. <br />b. For administrative purposes only: <br />Upper Terminus = <br />SE NE S24 T51N R10E NMPM <br />1041' West of the East Section Line, 1650' South of the North Section Line <br />UTM North: 4278683.9 UTM East: 429119.3 <br />Lower Terminus = <br />SE SE S28 T49N R10E NMPM <br />39' West of the East Section Line, 756' North of the South Section Line <br />UTM North: 4257780.6 UTM East: 424852.1 <br />5. Use of the water. <br />Instream flow to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: January 24, 2007 <br />7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use on January 24, 2007, <br />by the action of the Colorado Water Conservation Board under the provisions of C.R.S. <br />§ § 37- 92- 102(3) and 37-92-103(3),(4) and (10). <br />8. Amount of water claimed (ABSOLUTE): Instream flow of 2.5 efs (April 1— <br />August 31) and 2.0 cfs (September 1 — October 31). <br />THE WATER REFEREE RULES: <br />The application is granted and a decree (ABSOLUTE) in the amount of instream <br />flow of 2.5 cfs (April 1— August 31) and 2.0 cfs (September 1 — October 31) is hereby <br />entered to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree in the reach of Badger <br />2 <br />
