2. The name of stream involved: <br />Willow Creek (instream flow) <br />3. The source of the water is: Willow Creek <br />4. Legal description of the stream segment through which an instream flow is <br />claimed: <br />a. The natural stream channel from the confluence of Spring Creek at <br />latitude 40° 53' 19 "N and longitude 107° 28' 19 "W as the upstream <br />terminus and extending to the confluence of Willow Creek Ditch at <br />latitude 40° 54' 57 "N and longitude 107° 31' 18 "W as the downstream <br />terminus, being a distance of approximately 4.8 miles. This segment can <br />be located on the Fortification NE and Bakers Peak U.S.G.S. <br />quadrangles. <br />b. For administrative purposes only: <br />Upper Terminus = <br />SE SE S22 T1 IN R90W 6 <br />1057' West of the East Section Line, 560' North of the South Section Line <br />UTM North: 4529343.0 UTM East: 291756.7 <br />Lower Terminus = <br />SW SW S8 TI IN R90W 6 th PM <br />975' East of the West Section Line, 82' North of the South Section Line <br />UTM North: 4532468.0 UTM East: 287635.4 <br />5. Use of the water: <br />Instream flow to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. <br />6. Date of initiation of appropriation: July 12, 2007. <br />7. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use on July 12, 2007, by <br />the action of the Colorado Water Conservation Board under the provisions of C.R.S. § § 37- <br />92- 102(3) and 37- 92- 103(3), (4) and (10). <br />8. Amount of water claimed (ABSOLUTE): Instream flow of 2.6 cfs (April 1 — <br />August 31) and 2 cfs (September 1 — March 31). <br />THE WATER REFEREE RULES: <br />The application is granted and a decree (ABSOLUTE) in the amount of Instream <br />flow of 2.6 cfs (April 1 — August 31) and 2 cfs (September 1 — March 31) is hereby <br />entered to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree in the reach of Willow <br />Creek between the upstream and downstream terminus points described in paragraph 4 <br />above. The appropriation date for this water right is July 12, 2007. <br />
