RUEDI RESERVOIR MEETING <br />MARCH 18,1997 <br />There is approximately 51,500 AF of compensatory storage water available in Ruedi <br />Reservoir which can be marketed by the Reclamation to water users in western <br />Colorado. <br />BACKGROUND <br />INTERESTED PARTIES: NEEDS: <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service <br />Ruedi Water & Power Authority <br />water for future development <br />water for endangered fish <br />water to remain in reservoir for recreation <br />Bureau of Reclamation sale water to repay cost of the project <br />Southeastern Colo Wtr Consery Distric retain possession of their replacement <br />water <br />ROUND I WATER SALES: <br />51,500 AF - total marketable yield available for sale <br />5,00 AF - reserved from industrial water sales for <br />for endangered fish under EIS /biological <br />opinion (Additional 5,000 AF for fish by modified <br />operations in 4 out of 5 years) <br />7,850 AF - contracted under Round I Y�atet sales <br />38,650 AF - total available for Round H water sales <br />ROUND II WATER SALES: <br />17,000 AF - Requests from west slope users for the water <br />21,650 AF - Remaining uncommitted water <br />
